This online-only auction features the contents of a long-held private collection gathered over decades and offered from a property that also served as a working location for the buying and selling of art, antiques, and rugs. The result is a wide-ranging offering that reflects both personal collecting and commercial trade.

The auction has been commissioned by the Personal Representative of the Marie Root-White Estate. Newly discovered documentation—including the marriage license—confirms that Marie Root-White was legally married to James “Jim” White, who had professional involvement in the music industry, most notably with the band Nazareth.

Additional searching has produced further music-related material. While the quantity beyond what is listed is limited, the collection now includes:

· 10 Platinum Record Awards

· 1 Gold Record Award

· 1 High Sales Achievement Award (believed to predate later Platinum certifications)

· Sealed Nazareth albums

· A small selection of memorabilia connected to Jim White’s other clients

These pieces, while not extensive, offer a focused glimpse into his professional activity and complement the much larger body of antiques, household goods, artwork, and commercial inventory found on-site.

Beyond the music memorabilia, the property contains an especially large amount of decorative outdoor statuary, including concrete, resin, and metal garden figures. Notably, there is also a pair of very large cast iron urns, substantial in both scale and weight. Several sets of Woodard-type wrought iron patio furniture were also found, adding to the appeal for decorators and garden enthusiasts.

Together, the collection offers a broad mix of personal effects, estate furnishings, collectibles, decorative arts, and outdoor pieces—representing decades of accumulation from both personal and trade-related activity. This auction presents opportunities for music memorabilia collectors, decorators, gardeners, resellers, and buyers seeking distinctive one-of-a-kind pieces.
